Last week was the SWPP convention in London, time to socialise with old friends and new, cram in as many master classes as possible, survive on as little sleep as possible as the Novotel bar is a warm and welcoming place to be with fellow photographers! And of course attend the most important night of the convention, the awards dinner.

Awards are given in many categories, Damian Mcgillicuddy my mentor (mmos) this year earned the title of Grand Master!

So well deserved,

I can’t begin to tell you how lucky I feel to be training with a Grand Master!
I have many ambitions, they say your teacher can only teach to the level he or she are at………. Boy did I select the right teacher!

Its such a fantastic part of my work being witness to true undeniable and unconditional love and this shoot was even more special as I had met the gentleman in question some years ago, Dewey is and always has been a full of love , life and personality! and now he has met his match in Emma! I would love to show you some out takes which were all of Dewey needing to be near his mum! two paws on her shoulders and cleaning the mascara Emma had so neatly applied only minutes before.
